Ben and Rob have set off on their Shitbox Rally journey.

For those following the Shitbox Rally here is a quick update. Yesterday the boys drove a massive 870km from the Gold Coast to Rockhampton (9 hours of driving). So far the car is holding up well “It’s purring like a cat” were their exact words.

It’s really important to take frequent breaks when embarking on any long journey, which is why they had to make a quick pit stop at the Bundaberg Rum factory on the way.

Radiator coolant check, oil check, brake fluid check. Here is a picture of Ben pretending to know what he is doing under the bonnet of a car...

Today Ben and Rob will drive another 4 hours from Rockhampton to Mackay. All of this initial driving is just to get to the actual start line in Mackay QLD. The real rally actually begins tomorrow morning!
