Gas Turbine Enclosures

Gas turbines are used around the world to provide power. These gas turbines and other packaged rotating equipment like compressors and diesel generators which are used in oil/gas and power generating facilities pose similar fire risks. They contain fuel and oil adjacent to hot surfaces during operation and maintenance.

Our Stat-X® total flooding aerosol system are used to protect critical components of the turbines and at times used to protect the entire enclosure. Many of these environments require fire suppression systems to be approved for use in Class I, Division 2 hazard zones. Our Stat-X EX product line is UL approved for this classification.
