QE20 Basic WIP Module

The QE20 Basic WIP Module may be used to provide terminals for WIP circuits, FIP alarm inputs, MCP inputs, or general purpose inputs in a QE20 system, or as a replacement for an existing module.
It provides 20 input circuits, each of which may be configured using QE20Config for:
- Connection to a WIP – as a field WIP with an optional adjacent zone manned push button
- Connection to a WIP – as a field WIP with an optional adjacent alarm MCP
- Connection to a WIP for the master WIP in the QE20 panel (circuit 20 only)
- MCP alarm input with open and short circuit fault detection
- FIP alarm input with open circuit fault detection
- FIP alarm input with open and short circuit fault protection
- General purpose input with 4 bands
- Connection to a WIP for the intercom function

Product Information
The VIGILANT QE20 Emergency Warning Control & Indicating Equipment (EWCIE) is the latest addition to our class leading range of emergency warning systems, designed to facilitate the orderly evacuation of occupants in a building in the event of an emergency. The QE20 Grade 1 has a wide range of functions and optional modules to provide a cost effective evacuation system solution for medium to large buildings and multi-building infrastructure such as commercial buildings, office blocks, hospitals, shopping centers, airports and educational campuses. The QE20 allows fire wardens or emergency services personal to easily control and coordinate efficient building evacuation. The QE20 meets the control and indicating equipment requirements of installation standard AS 1670.4, NZS4512, equipment standards AS 4428.16:2020 and AS 4428.4:2016.
